Duran: Wars are fought on digital platforms today (IRNA)

On Saturday evening, the Head of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Burhanettin Duran, stressed that the character of wars has evolved and that they are now fought on digital platforms and within the realm of narratives.

These remarks were delivered by Head of Communications Duran at the 17th Al Jazeera Forum in Doha.

Duran, "Wars are no longer confined to physical battlefields and are now fought through narratives, perception management, and digital platforms. Gaza and Syria show us that wars do not end solely with ceasefires but also demand political solutions, reconstruction frameworks, and governance arrangements."

The Head of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye went on to say, "The world has already changed. The responsibility before us is to ensure that it changes in the right direction. In this new era, Türkiye has taken practical and concrete steps to help the region contribute to peace, stability, and global security, while inviting all regional countries to take part in this shared responsibility."

Concluding his remarks, Duran stated, "At a time when the world is growing more complex each day, Türkiye is encouraging the development of an inclusive and sustainable regional security architecture."
