Zhengtai Xinneng (CHINT) has announced that it will establish a solar cell factory in Türkiye.
According to the agreement, the company will build a state-of-the-art TOPCon solar cell production line and allocate 80% of its production for export.
CHINT had previously established a photovoltaic module factory in Türkiye.
The investment is considered a significant step under Türkiye’s High-Tech Investment Promotion Program (HIT-30). Launched by the Turkish government in July 2024, the program aims to attract international investments in sectors such as electric vehicles, semiconductors, battery technologies, and renewable energy. The total investment target of the program is set at $30 billion.
