Türkiye continues to stand out in the field of cultural tourism, driven by its efforts to safeguard and promote its historical and cultural heritage. Through restoration and conservation projects carried out in Antalya, numerous ancient cities are being reopened to visitors.

As part of the works undertaken at Andriake Ancient Port and the Museum of Lycian Civilisations, Andriake, one of the principal ports of ancient Myra, has been revitalised. While the ancient structures across the site have been opened to visitors, the museum displays statues, sarcophagi, coins, and a wide range of archaeological artefacts from the Lycian period.

Meanwhile, the ancient city of Syedra in Alanya has been brought into cultural tourism with the opening of its new visitor centre. Noted for its colonnaded street, baths, and other historical structures from the Roman and Byzantine periods, the ancient city also features a unique mosaic depicting the Twelve Labours of Hercules among its most remarkable artefacts.

Under Türkiye's "Legacy for the Future" initiative, efforts are underway to preserve ancient cities and enhance their contribution to cultural tourism.
