The Director General of Türkiye's Anadolu Agency expressed support for his Iranian colleagues and condemned the Israeli regime's attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) building during a press conference held by President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

The head of Türkiye’s Anadolu Agency condemned the zionist regime’s attack on the IRIB building and expressed support for his Iranian colleagues during a press conference with the Russian President.

According to Tasnim International News Agency, Serdar Karagöz, Chairman of the Board and Director General of Anadolu Agency, made the following remarks during a press conference held by President Vladimir Putin and attended by the heads of international news agencies: "Today, the head of the Iranian news agency was supposed to be with us. However, as you know, due to the outbreak of war, he was unable to attend. As you may have seen in relation to the previous question, Iranian television was deliberately and consciously targeted. The whole world witnessed this together."

Karagöz added: "Likewise, unfortunately, hundreds of journalists are being deliberately targeted in Gaza. We must also speak about the genocide in Gaza. President Putin, do you have any plans to support Iran?"

In response to the question, President Putin stated that 250 Russian engineers are currently working at the Bushehr nuclear plant, and that Russia is ready to increase this number to 600. He added: "We have not gone anywhere; we are where we are, in other words, we continue our support. Iran has not requested any support from us. We maintain regular communication with our counterparts in Iran, and this communication continues."
