The 20th Winter Deaflympics kicked off on March 2 in Erzurum.
One of three major comprehensive global sports events for people with disabilities, Deaflympics takes place every four years.
Over 500 athletes from more than 30 countries and regions will compete for 10 days in six disciplines, namely Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, curling, snowboard, chess and futsal.
