President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech during the Turkish Red Crescent Awards Ceremony at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center of the Presidential Complex.

“With the activities it has undertaken in many places, including Iraq, Palestine, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq and Syria, the Turkish Red Crescent has been etched in the hearts, minds and memories of our brothers and sisters across the geography that is near and dear to our hearts. Our nation has opened its affectionate arms to the innocents, embracing the immigrants forcibly displaced by civil wars with the exact Ansar awareness. The Turkish Red Crescent has always stood on the forefront in housing and food delivery efforts in times of natural disasters and outbreaks. The Turkish Red Crescent brings honor to our nation. The Turkish Red Crescent is a source of pride for our country. The Turkish Red Crescent is the hallmark of our civilization; a reflection of our national and moral identity in the mirror. Noting that In Gaza, where the Zionist network of genocide led by Netanyahu continues its attacks, the Turkish Red Crescent has so far delivered more than 26,000 tons of humanitarian aid to the region, with the Turkish Red Crescent’s Gaza Office diligently conducting needs assessments and rehabilitation efforts on the ground, President Erdoğan stated that the Turkish Red Crescent makes our nation proud with its works in Lebanon, as well, which has been a target to the Zionist barbarity.
President Erdoğan stressed: “As I stated in my speech during the parliamentary group meeting yesterday, Israel, under its current administration, has turned into a factory of discord, the sole raw material of which is blood, tears, instability and chaos. Those attacking our region like sharks that have caught the scent of blood will eventually be held to account for the blood they shed; and the cries of the oppressed that shake the heavens will sooner or later grab the oppressors by the collar. Those walking down the path of Hitler today must not forget that if they continue down this road, they will meet the same fate as other tyrants in history.”
