President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received Prime Minister Kamil Idris of Sudan at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting addressed Türkiye-Sudan relations as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan stated that the aim is to further advance relations between Türkiye and Sudan through ongoing and future efforts.
President Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s strong support for Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Emphasizing that Türkiye continues its efforts to end the conflict in Sudan and restore normalcy, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye supports diplomatic efforts to establish a ceasefire and launch a comprehensive political process, and added that humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people will continue to increase during this period.
