Current Situation Regarding Forest Fires Occuring Throughout Our Country

As of January 1, 2025, there have been 3,015 fires reported, including 1,295 in forested regions and 1,720 in non-forested regions. Over the past week, the fires have been particularly intense due to high temperatures, low humidity, and strong winds. In the period from June 26 to July 3, 576 forest fires were recorded. Among these fires, 331 originated in non-forested regions and subsequently spread to forested areas.
