President Erdoğan’s message of condolence for Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan offered his condolences for the deceased Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait. In his post shared in Arabic and Turkish on his Twitter account, President Erdoğan noted the following: “I wish Allah’s mercy upon Amir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait, whom I am deeply saddened to learn the death of, and I extend my condolences to the people of the friendly and brotherly nation, Kuwait on behalf of the Turkish nation.” 

Turkey denies the claim that it shot down an Armenian warplane

Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun stated that the claim that “the SU-25 aircraft belonging to Armenia was shot down by a Turkish F-16” is “absolutely untrue”.  Turkey has refuted the claim of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia that the Armenian SU-25 aircraft had been shot down by a Turkish F-16 announced by the Russian news agency, Tass. In his statement to Bloomberg, the Director of Communications Altun said, “The claim that Turkey ‘shot down Armenian warplane’ is absolutely untrue. Rather than resorting to such cheap propaganda acts, Armenia should immediately withdraw from the territories it occupied.”
