“4th International Balkan Music Festival” to start tomorrow

The "4th International Balkan Music Festival" organized by the Thrace Foundation for Culture, Art and Education (TRAKSEV) will start tomorrow in Edirne. The festival, supported by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Edirne Municipality, Edirne Regional Directorate of Foundations and Trakya University, aims to promote the socio-cultural structure of the Thrace as well as its cultural and historical values. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Prague, the capital of Czechia, to attend the meeting of the European Political Community. Welcomed by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Prague Egemen Bağış and other officials upon his arrival at Václav Havel Airport, President Erdoğan will be accompanied by minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Czechia. Sweden's Ambassador to Ankara Staffan Herrström was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today due to the broadcast of a program with insulting content and visuals against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Türkiye on Swedish State Television (SVT). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs communicated to Herrström Türkiye's strong reaction to the programme on SVT and underlined that impertinence and ugly expressions and visuals against our President and our country are unacceptable and that it is not possible to evaluate such broadcasts within the scope of freedom of expression or press.
