President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned the Israeli police’s attack on the congregation in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied East Jerusalem’s Old City district.
In a post shared on his Twitter account, President Erdoğan said, “We strongly condemn Israel’s heinous attacks against our first qiblah, Al-Aqsa Mosque, that are unfortunately being carried out every Ramadan. As Türkiye, we will continue to stand by our Palestinian brothers and sisters in all circumstances.”
President Erdoğan also shared the tweet in Hebrew and Arabic.
