Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran met with Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, in Istanbul during the Strategic Communication (STRATCOM) Summit 2026.
In a post he shared on his NSosyal account regarding the meeting, Head of Communications Duran stated:
"On the margins of the International Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM Summit) 2026, we met with Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During our meeting, we discussed the reflections of the strong solidarity and unity between Türkiye and the TRNC in the fields of communication and media, and evaluated potential joint steps to more effectively convey our just cause at the international level.
In line with the vision set forth by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to contribute to amplifying the voice of our Cypriot brothers and sisters on the global stage through accurate and effective communication strategies.
