Presidency’s Director of Communications Altun extends his birthday wishes to President Erdoğan with the hashtag “a life devoted to the nation”

On the occasion of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's 68th birthday, Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a message on his social media account with the hashtag "a life devoted to the nation". Sharing a photograph of President Erdoğan at the UN General Assembly, Director of Communications Altun said, "We are living in a time where we recognize the value of a strong leader for a nation. May Allah always keep you with us. Mr President, I wish you many more happy and healthy years with your loved ones and our nation."

President Erdoğan, President Zelensky of Ukraine talk over phone

President Erdoğan’s phone conversation with President Zelensky of Ukraine addressed Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine and the latest developments. President Erdoğan offered his condolences for Ukrainian citizens killed in Russia’s attack and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded. President Erdoğan stressed that Türkiye was working for an immediate declaration of ceasefire in a bid to prevent further loss of life and harm to Ukraine.

Speaking at a mass opening ceremony of education investments in Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “We have taken many historic steps to strengthen the education infrastructure of Istanbul.
