Statement regarding claim that fighter jets that took off from Incirlik Air Base are en route to Israel

The claim that two British Typhoon fighter jets taking off from the Incirlik Air Base in Adana are flying towards Israeli shores does not reflect the truth.  The location shown on the map has nothing to do with the Incirlik Air Base. The alleged jets did not fly to Israel or Palestine. It was identified that the Typhoon fighter jets flying in the region last night took off from the UK-controlled military bases in Akrotiri and Dhekelia in Southern Cyprus and returned to the base from which they took off after patrol flights in the Eastern Mediterranean.
