The "State Incentives Promotion Days," organised by our Directorate for the youth, kicked off in Mersin.
Approximately 40 institutions and organisations promoted state incentives at the Yenişehir district fair and event area.
Students and families showed interest in the event, which was organised by our Directorate and featured stands from ministries, presidential offices, institutions affiliated with the Presidency, law enforcement, gendarmerie, coast guard, universities, and various other institutions.
Participants learned about the scholarships, grants, funds, loan supports and internship programmes of the institutions at the stands and observed these units' practices in a variety of simulation and activity areas.
"We interacted one-on-one with over a million young people"
Presidency's Deputy Director of Communications Evren Başar recalled that they first introduced "State Incentives Promotion Days" in 2021.
Stating that the event had taken place in 16 cities prior to Mersin, Deputy Director of Communications Başar said:
"We interacted one-on-one with over a million young people in these cities. We are here as the Presidency's Directorate of Communications to personally explain to them the support, grants, funds, scholarships, and loans that our state offers to our youth. In this way, we want to raise awareness about the opportunities that our state has to offer young people as they plan their careers and future. We will organise this event in five other cities within a month."
