“Tell Me Myself: Miniature Art in the 21st Century” exhibition opens in Rome

The opening of the exhibition “Tell Me Myself: Miniature Art in the 21st Century”, organised in cooperation with the Directorate of Communications of the Republic of Türkiye and the Yunus Emre Institute, was held in Rome, the capital of Italy. The exhibition will be open to visitors between 8–15 January 2026. Curated by Leyla Kara Yücel, the exhibition features works by artists from Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Iran, and the Netherlands, and was inaugurated with broad participation. CİMER Receives 5.5 Million Applications in 2025

Serving as a key bridge in state–citizen communication, the Presidency's Communication Centre (CİMER) received 5.5 million applications in 2025, maintaining strong engagement with citizens and responding to 96.8 per cent of all submissions. Accessibility was further enhanced through digitalisation initiatives and the mobile application, while CİMER was also honoured with two international awards.

Ankara hosts “Turkic States Forum on Combating Disinformation”

Hosted by our Directorate, the "Turkic States Forum on Combating Disinformation" was held in Ankara, bringing together senior officials and communication experts from the member and observer states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).  The Forum, which addressed joint strategies to combat disinformation and cooperation opportunities, opened with remarks by Deputy Secretary General of the OTS Ömer Kocaman (PhD) and Head of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Burhanettin Duran. On 18 December, a “Roundtable Meeting on the United Kingdom–Türkiye Defence Partnership” was held in London in cooperation with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), a think tank, and the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. Our Directorate has published the book "Murdering the Truth: Israel's Campaign Against Journalism", which documents both the humanitarian and historical dimensions of the events in Gaza. Available in Turkish, English, and Arabic, the book explores the systematic targeting of journalists during Israel’s attacks in Gaza, most notably following October 7, 2023, within the framework of historical recordkeeping and the responsibility of witness-bearing.
