Tourism demand to Türkiye remains at top (Orient)

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, together with the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), has announced that tourism activities across the country are proceeding entirely as normal.

Amid widespread media coverage of the conflict in parts of the broader Middle East, officials emphasised that Türkiye is not a party to this conflict. Tourist destinations across the country continue to welcome visitors without any restrictions.

Leading destinations, including İstanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, İzmir, and Cappadocia, continue to host tourists from Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region without interruption.

According to data from Turkish officials, all processes, from accommodation and tours to entertainment programmes and other tourist services, continue to operate as normal. Across the country, no bans or restrictions have been placed on tourism activities.

International airports in İstanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, and İzmir remain operational without interruption. There are no airport closures, flight restrictions, or route changes due to regional developments. Airlines have not reported any cancellations in this regard.

Tour operators and reservation partners are actively proceeding with sales for the 2026 summer season tours. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism confirmed that holiday demand in Türkiye remains strong and expressed its willingness to share additional information and statistical data with partners to support destination promotion.
