Türkiye to export natural gas to Moldova

Türkiye and Moldova signed a deal for the export of natural gas to the latter via pipeline, the Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) announced Thursday. The agreement between BOTAS and Moldova's East Gas Energy Trading envisages the export of 2 million cubic meters of natural gas daily since Oct. 1, the Turkish company said in a statement. BOTAS said that the company continued to support Europe's energy supply security with the export agreements it had made. Türkiye recently signed agreements with Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania for the export of natural gas via pipeline.
