Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “Turkey is on the verge of becoming a regional and global leader in politics, economy and democracy. We will work harder, endeavor more and will definitely elevate our country to that level.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the party’s group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT).
“We will merge our potential and capabilities with our goals, dreams and vision and will seek to elevate our country to the level it deserves in the world,” President Erdoğan said. “Turkey is on the verge of becoming a regional and global leader in politics, economy and democracy. We will work harder, endeavor more and will definitely elevate our country to that level.”
Praising the record-level rise in industrial production, President Erdoğan said: “According to the data announced yesterday, the industrial production has risen by 41 percent on a year on year basis and by 1.3 percent on a month on month basis.”
“Turkey continues to grow with new investments. It generates new jobs and its export volume rises. Turkey is approaching its goals step by step,” President Erdoğan underlined.
“WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PURSUIT UNTIL THE LAST MEMBER OF THE FETO HAS BEEN NEUTRALIZED”
“Tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. With the courageous stance it assumed that night, the Parliament proved once again that it deserved the title of veteran,” President Erdoğan said.
“We continue to fight against the PKK, DAESH and other terrorist organizations as well as the FETO treacherous organization,” President Erdoğan noted. “Just as we fight uncompromisingly and determinedly against other terrorist organizations, we will continue our pursuit until the last member of the FETO has been neutralized.”
“Turkey now has the power, will and determination to eliminate at the source every threat to its homeland’s integrity, the nation’s unity and the state’s permanence, whether it be done through terrorist organizations or other intrigues,” President Erdoğan said.
“Turkey’s security now starts not at our borders, but wherever threats exist. We are taking the necessary steps to thwart any actual or potential threat, menace or attack against Turkey’s political and economic interests before they reach our borders. This is the reason why we have consolidated our diplomatic missions with all their sub-units and undertaken military missions in various locations in our region at the level of consultancy and training. Considering countless examples in our history, we know that they will not let us live in peace, safety and prosperity unless we build this powerful infrastructure. Therefore, we do not see terrorist organization and their activities as merely armed groups. We are aware that most of the attacks our country has sustained are not incidents caused by the natural course of politics, trade or social life. Thus, we will continue to remain alert against the PKK, the FETO and any other organization that might be put up against us,” President Erdoğan said.
Noting that he would pay a visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on July 19-20, President Erdoğan said: “I believe the determine stance we will display over there will give morale Cypriot brothers and sisters, and it will spread in waves to the entire world as a message of resolve.”
