President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the “Ceremony for the Beginning of the 2026-2027 School Year and Opening of Newly-Completed Education Investments in Ankara.”
“All our investments and all our efforts are aimed at building the Türkiye of tomorrow in the best, most modern and most resilient manner. These are all aimed at ensuring all of our children, regardless of which income level they are from, enjoy fair and equal opportunities in education. These are all aimed at making sure that our teachers, who give life to education as the heart and soul of the class, perform their duties with peace of mind. These are all aimed at letting our children from every district of Ankara, be it Çankaya, Sincan, Mamak or Keçiören, receive education under better circumstances. We have mobilized all our resources to expand the equality of opportunity in education and raise the quality of education. With the Free Coursebook Project, we get the coursebooks ready on our kids’ desks by the opening of the school year. We have provided over 4.306 million coursebooks to our students so far. We will inshallah continue to strengthen the infrastructure of education both in Ankara and throughout Türkiye in the future as well,” President Erdoğan said.
