President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan signed the declaration "Deepening, Diversifying, and Institutionalising the Strategic Partnership," alongside the signing of 24 cooperation agreements between the two countries across various fields.
President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sharif of Pakistan chaired the Seventh Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council after their bilateral meeting at the Prime Ministry building.
Following the meeting, President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sharif signed the joint declaration "Deepening, Diversifying, and Institutionalising the Strategic Partnership" between the two countries.
Following the signing of the joint statement, 24 cooperation agreements across various fields were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Sharif of Pakistan.
In this context, the "Protocol on the Exchange of Military and Civilian Personnel for Social and Cultural Purposes," "Memorandum of Understanding on Air Force Electronic Warfare Cooperation," and "Protocol on Training and Cooperation in Military Health" between the two countries were signed by Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler and Minister of Defence of Pakistan, Khawaja M.
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Energy of Pakistan Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari signed the "Protocol on Amendment of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Hydrocarbons," "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Energy Transition," and "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Mining."
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Federal Minister of Commerce of Pakistan Jam Kamal Khan signed the "Joint Declaration on the Development of the Goods Trade Agreement" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Digitalisation of the Approval of Certificates of Origin."
"Cooperation Agreement on Water" and "Cooperation Agreement on Seed Production" were signed by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and Minister of National Food Security and Research of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fathi Kacır and Pakistani Science and Technology Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Legal Metrology Infrastructure" and the "Memorandum of Understanding between TÜBİTAK and Pakistan National Textile University for Technical Assistance and Development of Pakistan-Türkiye Textile Technology Centre."
The Memorandum of Understanding between Turk Eximbank and EXIM Bank of Pakistan was signed by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.
The "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Industrial Property" was signed by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Federal Minister for Commerce of Pakistan Jam Kamal Khan.
