Seventeen agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt.
President Erdoğan and el-Sisi co-chaired the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council at the Presidential Complex.
The meeting was followed by the signing ceremony of the agreements between the two countries.
The agreements signed in the presence of President Erdoğan and President el-Sisi of Egypt are as follows:
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Development of the New Administrative Capital (NAC) Industrial Park
- Agreement on Land Allocation for the Development of the Industrial Park within New October City
- MoU in the Field of Competition Policy between the Competition Authority of the Republic of Türkiye and the Competition Authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education between the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Development of Cooperation in Rail Sector between the State Railways of the Republic of Türkiye and the Egyptian National Railways
- MoU between Civil Aviation Authorities
- MoU in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Scientific, Economic and Technical Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation in the Fields of Health and Medical Sciences between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU between the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development Organisation of the Republic of Türkiye and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation and Capacity Building between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and Ministry of International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Finance and Economics between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Finance of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU in the Field of Energy between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU in the Field of Labour and Employment between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Manpower of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Environmental Protection between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Urbanisation between the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Environment of the Arab Republic of Egypt
- MoU between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate's Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt
During the ceremony, President Erdoğan and el-Sisi signed the Joint Declaration of the first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the Republic of Türkiye and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
