Speaking at the opening ceremony of ROKETSAN production facilities, President Erdoğan said: “As a country, we, too, are setting the direction and trajectory both on the ground and in technology. We have become one of the norm-setting countries in this area with the products, systems, software and platforms we have developed over the past 23 years as well as with our strong human resources and institutional capacity. Today, praise be to Allah, Türkiye is a country capable of protecting its own skies, equipping its own platforms and developing its own ammunition.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks during the opening ceremony of ROKETSAN production facilities in Ankara.
“We are living in an era when the dominance on land, air and sea is intertwined, and when all the balances have been altered by autonomous technologies and the positioning in cyberspace. I take great pride in stating at this point that we are one of the founding actors of this new order in which the rules and processes have been restructured. We have no worries about keeping up with the current order in which trench wars have been replaced by cyber wars. As a country, we, too, are setting the direction and trajectory both on the ground and in technology. We have become one of the norm-setting countries in this area with the products, systems, software and platforms we have developed over the past 23 years as well as with our strong human resources and institutional capacity. What is more, we are doing all this with our own mind, our own engineering and our own human resources. We run to the aid of the friendly and allied countries when they ask for it, and contribute to global peace and security at the highest level,” President Erdoğan said.
