President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent a video message to the Türkiye Entrepreneurs Meeting Summit organised by the Entrepreneur Businessmen Foundation and the Türkiye Youth Foundation in Konya.
Wishing that the Türkiye Entrepreneurs Meeting Summit and Exhibition would be auspicious for entrepreneurs, the economy and the country, President Erdoğan congratulated the businesspeople who were granted the entrepreneurship awards.
Expressing his gratitude to all the participants who contributed with their opinions, evaluations, knowledge and products to the summit held this year with the theme "from idea to enterprise", President Erdoğan stated that entrepreneurship was an inherent feature of the Turkish nation.
"We have great expectations, especially from our youth"
Emphasising that they know that every member of the nation has the potential to be highly productive in entrepreneurship and innovation when provided with adequate infrastructure, education and opportunity, President Erdoğan said:
"At a time when the global management and economic systems are undergoing a radical change, this trait we have provides us with tremendous opportunities. We are exerting efforts to seize these opportunities by reaching our 2023 goals upon the democracy and development infrastructure we have established in our country in the last 19 years and then realising our 2053 vision. From the public to the private sector, everyone has a critical role in shaping our new vision, which we first heralded with the Green Development Initiative.
I believe that the summit, which is held at a time when global production and logistics hubs are re-established and the operation of a digital and technology-based economy is gaining strength, will bear fruitful results for all of us. In this context, we have great expectations, especially from our youth. At a time when the population of Western countries is starting to age and education, and infrastructure problems remain unresolved in the East, our country, Türkiye, stands in a position where it can look to its future with optimism owing to the strength it derives from its youth."
President Erdoğan remarked that every experience they had and every adversity they had been through enhanced the nation's resolve to reach their goals.
Stating, "The Türkiye Entrepreneurs Meeting Summit held in Konya, the ancient capital of Seljuk Empire, our first state in Anatolia, will inspire us all to build a great and powerful Türkiye" President Erdoğan wished the summit to be successful.
President Erdoğan congratulated those who contributed to the organisation of the auspicious program, especially the Entrepreneur Businessmen Foundation and Türkiye Youth Foundation.
