As part of promotional activities carried out in New York under the coordination of the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, Türkiye’s messages on the environment, climate, peace and justice were conveyed to the public in Times Square.
As part of these activities, messages from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Türkiye’s environmental and climate vision for COP31 were shared with New Yorkers through giant screens in Times Square and mobile LED trucks.
The visuals featured integrated designs highlighting Türkiye’s historical and natural attractions as well as its soft power capacity and included President Erdoğan’s messages centred on global peace and justice, alongside promotional content showcasing İstanbul.
President Erdoğan’s messages, “The world is bigger than five”, “Global governance must represent all humanity, all religions, all races and all cultures”, and “No one can feel safe in a world where children are being killed under bombs”, were displayed on giant screens in Times Square and on mobile LED trucks.
The giant screens also featured promotional messages that highlighted Türkiye and İstanbul as a cradle of civilisations.
In this context, the messages “İstanbul: Where civilisations meet and history breathes”, “Times Square meets timeless Türkiye”, and “New York never sleeps, İstanbul never ceases to inspire” were displayed on the screens.
