President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, President Erdoğan congratulated his Uzbek counterpart on his reelection as the president in Uzbekistan and wished that the election results would yield auspicious outcomes for the brotherly Uzbek people.
Voicing his belief that the Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations, which derived their strength from their shared history and culture, would grow much stronger in the upcoming period, and that the strategic partnership between the two countries would be consolidated through solidarity and sincerity, President Erdoğan said that they would maintain efforts to enhance bilateral relations in every area in a way that would contribute to the regional security, stability and prosperity.
