President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan.
During the conversation, regional issues and steps to enhance Türkiye-Afghanistan relations were addressed.
Thanking President Ghani of Afghanistan, who had expressed his get-well wishes over the forest fires, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye would continue to stand by the friendly and brotherly Afghan people in order for Afghanistan to achieve the peace and stability it deserves as soon as possible.
