President Erdoğan presents the book “Türkiye’s Fight Against Terrorism” to leaders at NATO Summit

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the book "Türkiye's Fight Against Terrorism", prepared in English by the Directorate of Communications, to the leaders he met at the NATO Summit.

President Erdoğan, who arrived in Belgium to attend the NATO Summit, held bilateral meetings with the heads of state and government on the sidelines of the summit.

President Erdoğan presented the book "Türkiye's Fight Against Terrorism", which details Türkiye's fight against terrorist organizations such as YPG/PKK, FETO, and DAESH, to US President Joe Biden, with whom he met during the summit, as well as UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The presence of the book on the table drew attention during President Erdoğan's tête-à-tête meeting with US President Biden.

The book consists of three chapters

"Türkiye's Fight Against Terrorism" book, prepared in English by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, consists of the chapters YPG/PKK, FETO and DAESH.

The book describes Türkiye's determined fight to eliminate terrorist organizations such as DAESH, YPG/PKK, and FETO, which have targeted the country.

The book emphasizes that Türkiye expects its allies to "respect its sovereignty rights and security sensitivities, and to stand tangibly by in its fight against all terrorist organizations, including the YPG/PKK, DAESH, and FETO."

The documented YPG/PKK connection

The chapter on the history of YPG/PKK terrorism includes information about the terrorist organization's attacks in Türkiye and Syria.

The book, which also highlights the massacres, atrocities, and looting committed against Kurds in Syria by the YPG/PKK, covers the YPG/PKK's crimes against humanity, including abducting and recruiting children, as well as drug smuggling.

In the book, which draws attention to the YPG/PKK connection with examples and documents from international reports, the West's support for the YPG/PKK is also explained.

FETO, the threat to the world

In the chapter which explains that FETO is a deadly terrorist group, examples of the bloodthirsty organization's crimes are presented, ranging from conspiracy cases to assassinations, from illegal wiretapping to blackmail and threat activities.

The book, which also details FETO's most significant terrorist attack, the July 15 coup attempt, underlines the necessity of extraditing FETO ringleader Fetullah Gülen from the US in accordance with international law.

The book also draws attention to the threat posed by FETO to the US.

Türkiye’s fight against DAESH

The book, which states that Türkiye is the country that has suffered the most from the terrorist organization DAESH's attacks, details how Türkiye broke the terrorist organization's back through its effective fight both within and outside its borders.
