President Erdoğan meets with President Siljanovska-Davkova of North Macedonia

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova of North Macedonia at Dolmabahçe Presidential Office.

The leaders discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and North Macedonia, as well as regional issues.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is determined to advance its relations with Macedonia, grounded in historical, human, and cultural ties, across all fields, particularly trade, defence industry, and energy.

President Erdoğan noted that he believes important decisions will be taken at the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7–8 to explore new opportunities among Allies, including joint defence industry production.

President Erdoğan was accompanied at the meeting by Director of National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and Chief Advisors to the President Zafer Çubukcu and Sabri Demir.
