President Erdoğan meets with Members of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council members Željka Cvijanović, Denis Bećirović, and Zeljko Komsic at a working breakfast in Türkiye for the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The leaders addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as regional and global issues.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye supports all constructive steps for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which plays a key role in the stability of the Balkans, and underlined that our unconditional support for its territorial integrity and constitutional order will continue.

Noting that the recent increase in separatist and provocative rhetoric targeting the Bosniak people, and stressed that irresponsible actions that could jeopardize stability in the Balkans would be to no one’s benefit, President Erdoğan highlighted the importance of building a Bosnia and Herzegovina in which the three constituent peoples live in harmony.

President Erdoğan also emphasized the need to accelerate efforts to increase bilateral trade volume between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in transport, energy, and other key areas.
