President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan left for Fuzuli, Azerbaijan, at 10.20.
Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin and other officials saw President Erdoğan off at Esenboğa Airport.
Accompanying President Erdoğan on his visit are Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, Presidency’s Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun and Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın during the visit to Fuzuli.
President Erdoğan, who has left for Fuzuli for a one-day working visit at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, will attend the inauguration of the International Airport in Fuzuli, which was liberated from occupation following the Battle of Homeland.
President Erdoğan will participate in the ground-breaking ceremonies of the highway built in the region and the Smart Agriculture Campus to be built in Zangilan with the contributions of Türkiye.
During the visit, all aspects of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations will be reviewed, and steps to further deepen the cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.
It is envisaged that views on current, regional and international developments as well as bilateral relations will be exchanged during the meetings.
