President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team on winning the bronze medal in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League by defeating Japan 3-0 in the third-place match.
Following the match against Japan, President Erdoğan held a phone conversation with National Team's Manager Pelin Çelik and congratulated the entire team on their accomplishment.
Noting that he followed the match attentively, President Erdoğan added that he was proud of 'the Sultans of the Net's success and that he believed they would achieve a successful result in the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Eda Erdem Dündar, captain of the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team, also thanked President Erdoğan for his unwavering support for Turkish volleyball.
