“Digital Exhibition of August 30”, organized by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day, will open on Thursday, August 26 at Marmaray Yenikapı Station.

On the 99th anniversary of the Great Offensive, which ended with a triumph on August 30, 1922, by the Turkish army under the command of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications will organize the “Digital Exhibition of August 30”.

The exhibition to be organized as part of '360 Culture and Art' events will open on Thursday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Marmaray Yenikapı Station.

The exhibition has been prepared using new communication tools to remember the spirit of independence, and it will depict the Turkish nation’s victory on August 30.

This date, when the doors of Anatolia were shut to adversaries, will be told through three-dimensional hologram film enriched with photographs of various periods and archive images.

The exhibition also features an information display titled "The turning point of the National War of Independence: August 30 Victory Day," which presents the commanders of the War of Independence.

Offering a chance to travel back in time with unforgotten frames of the Great Offensive, the “Digital Exhibition of August 30” will be open to visitors free of charge at Marmaray Yenikapı Station until September 19, from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Visitors will be admitted after ensuring that the necessary measures against Covid-19 are taken.
