Head of Communications Duran Issues Message on International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, in a post shared on his NSosyal account, drew attention to the suffering endured by children in conflict zones, particularly in Gaza, and expressed his hope for a world in which all children can live in security, justice and peace.

In his message, Duran stated:

“On the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, we draw attention to the suffering endured by millions of children struggling to survive amid wars and conflicts in different parts of the world, particularly in Gaza and Palestine.

In Gaza, children are facing the devastating consequences of bombardment, hunger, forced displacement and deprivation of basic necessities. The international community bears both a moral and a legal responsibility to bring an end to this tragedy, in which children have become targets.

Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye continues to defend the just cause of the Palestinian people and maintain its firm stance in support of the establishment of lasting peace in Gaza.

On this occasion, I commemorate with mercy the children who have lost their lives and wish for a world in which all children can live in security, justice and peace.”
