The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, condemned the Israeli airstrike on Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase in Syria in a message shared on his NSosyal account.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“I strongly condemn the Israeli airstrike on the Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase in the countryside of Idlib, Syria.
These attacks targeting Syria’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and infrastructure are part of a continued policy of irresponsible aggression that threatens regional peace and stability.
Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye will continue to support Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to stand against any attempt that threatens peace and stability in our region.”
