In a post he shared on his social media account, Director of Communications Altun emphasised that the Republic of Türkiye always stands with democracy and the people everywhere.
Recalling that the nation suffered greatly in the past when power was not transferred through elections, Altun said, “We are therefore concerned about the most recent developments in Tunisia and maintain that democracy must be restored without delay.”
