Stating that Türkiye and the Turkish Cypriots have been working closely with the United Nations (UN) for decades to promote lasting peace, Presidency's Director of Communications Altun said, "It’s time to pursue a two-state solution."
In a post shared on his social media account, Director of Communications Altun noted that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would pay an official visit to the Island on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
Altun stated in his post, "Türkiye and Turkish Cypriots worked closely with the United Nations (UN) for decades to promote lasting peace. It’s time to pursue a two-state solution.''
Director of Communications Altun also shared a video titled "Cyprus Issue from Past to Present: Two-State Solution."
