President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana to attend the Türkiye-Kazakhstan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meeting and the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana by President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan, Turkish Ambassador to Astana Mustafa Kapucu and other relevant officials.
First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat are accompanying President Erdoğan in Kazakhstan.
Kazakh fighter jets escorted President Erdoğan’s plane as it landed at the airport.
