President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The call addressed the Türkiye-DRC bilateral relations and regional matters.
President Erdoğan stated that we will continue to take steps to expand the cooperation between the two countries in many areas, particularly investments, trade, defense industry and security.
Expressing our support for the initiatives launched to resolve the security situation in the east of the DRC through a lasting peace, President Erdoğan added that we can provide the necessary contributions towards the formation of a foundation conducive to the implementation of the existing agreements.
