In a post shared on his NSosyal account, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, commented on the meeting he held with Vice President Hikmet Hajiyev of Azerbaijan as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran said:
"Within the scope of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026), we met with the Vice President of Azerbaijan, my dear brother Hikmet Hajiyev.
The longstanding brotherly ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue to deepen across all areas, thanks to a shared sense of history and strong cooperation.
In our meeting, we touched upon potential joint steps in the fields of communication, media, and public diplomacy.
We reaffirmed our agreement to combat disinformation, effectively share accurate information, and improve coordination in strategic communication.
In accordance with the vision articulated by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will persist in fostering robust collaboration in close cooperation with our friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan."
