President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Summit in Istanbul.
Stating that the Türkiye Artificial Intelligence Action Plan, which covers the period between 2026 and 2030, and which is a critical roadmap in this area, will be shared with the public during the Summit, President Erdoğan voiced his hope for the plan, which will elevate Türkiye to the level of leading countries in artificial intelligence technologies, to lead to auspicious outcomes.
Underscoring that the achievements Türkiye has achieved in technology are merely the tip of the iceberg, President Erdoğan said: “By seizing the opportunities provided by artificial intelligence, we are determined to build a great and strong Türkiye in the Century of Türkiye in the digital world as well.”
Stressing that they will position Istanbul as the international showcase of Türkiye and a city of investment diplomacy, President Erdoğan noted that they will benefit from Terminal Istanbul as a meeting platform for entrepreneurs and global investors, and added: “We will assume an effective role in the United Nations and other platforms in setting human-oriented artificial intelligence standards.”
