As we enter the second century of the Republic of Türkiye, we are resolutely implementing a new paradigm and institutionalisation process guided by the vision of the "Century of Türkiye" under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

This historical transformation has extended beyond political and economic realms, significantly impacting a variety of fields such as communication, public diplomacy, and the building of strategic narratives.

Türkiye is committed to being an engaged actor rather than a passive spectator in a period of rapid digitalisation, increasing relevance of information, and revolutionary effects of artificial intelligence-supported communication tools. In this new era, where information and perception are critical in global power interactions, strategic communication and public diplomacy have emerged as key tools for defending national interests.

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications, founded under the Presidential System of Government, serves as an institutional entity that integrates the longstanding expertise of our state with contemporary demands. This structure has evolved into more than just a technical communication institution; it is also the voice of the state, reaching out to the people, nation, and world.

Currently, Türkiye serves as the advocate of truth in a time and region marked by crises and disinformation. The strategic communication tools we have created to combat global black propaganda are both a defensive measure and a value- and knowledge-driven counter-narrative system.

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications works with a multifaceted vision to increase democratic involvement at home and position Türkiye as a recognised actor abroad. Practices such as CİMER, which enable direct contact with citizens, play an important role in reflecting the will of the people in the administrative process.

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications is not merely an institution which reacts to current developments; it possesses a forward-looking, visionary, and proactive structure. We derive our narrative strength not only from conveying the truth but also from the historical legacy, cultural richness and humanitarian stance of our nation. While developing ethical, value-oriented and sustainable communication models, we are not only thinking about today but also building a legacy to be passed on to future generations.

Strengthening the Türkiye brand, promoting our rightful arguments on a global scale, and establishing an effective discourse in the fields of public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy are among our primary objectives. To achieve this goal, we utilise all the means of the digital age, engaging in a global narrative effort through our strategic communication platforms, publishing activities, and efforts to combat disinformation.

In an era where truth is distorted and devalued, we strive to strengthen Türkiye’s rightful stance and humanitarian approach. I believe that strategic communication is not merely a tool but also a guarantee of national security, social unity, and international credibility.

On this occasion, I would like to once again emphasise our determination, under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to defend Türkiye’s rights and interests and to uphold a stance in favour of justice, peace, and stability both in our region and around the world.

Looking ahead, we will steadfastly continue our efforts to build a stronger communication infrastructure, enhance public diplomacy and establish a more visible global presence, and continue to be the voice of our nation on every platform.
