Delivering remarks following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, President Erdoğan said: “We are a cadre that do politics within the nation’s shared values, not through conflict, tension or quarrel. We speak the same language as our people, communicate through the same language of the heart, and look at the same horizon. Let me state once again clearly that our origins, sects, dispositions, or lifestyles could be different than one another, but we are the citizens of the same state, individuals of the same nation, children of the same homeland, and motifs of the same rug.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks at a press conference following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
Underscoring that Türkiye is the world’s 11th biggest country in defense exports, President Erdoğan drew attention to over 140 sea platforms exported to different parts of the world, adding that with the delivery of the CAm. Roman offshore patrol vessel to the Romanian Naval Forces, Türkiye has exported a warship to NATO and European Union member country for the first time in its history.
Drawing attention to President Karol Nawrocki of Poland’s visit to Türkiye on June 23, President Erdoğan said they addressed the Russia-Ukraine war and the Iran crisis during the talks, and that they attach importance to the support of Poland, which is one of the countries that recognize Palestine, to a two-state solution.
“There is neither genocide nor massacre in our history”
President Erdoğan said: “We are the members of a nation that is great with its history and conscience. We have held the hands of those who have fallen, we have rushed to the help of those in need, and we have opened our doors to those who have taken shelter in our country for centuries. We attach no importance to the aspersions the gang of murder, which has the blood of 73 thousand innocent Gazans, most of them children and women, on their hands, cast on our country. There is neither genocide nor massacre, or oppression, or colonialism in our history. There is only justice and mercy in our thousands-year-long glorious history. There is helping all the oppressed regardless of their religion, origin and identity. There is the virtue of protecting those fleeing from inquisition and the Nazi oppression.”

Stressing that those who cast aspersions on Türkiye and the Turkish nation to cover their barbarities in Gaza best know this if they look at their history, President Erdoğan said: “We are a cadre that do politics within the nation’s shared values, not through conflict, tension or quarrel. Earthquakes in Venezuela
Pointing out that Türkiye supports the friendly Venezuelan people, which has shaken by the two major subsequent earthquakes, President Erdoğan stated that two military cargo planes have been rapidly sent to the disaster zone in coordination with AFAD and in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence, and added: “A total of 75 staff, five search and rescue vehicles, and six search and rescue dogs have arrived in Venezuela and begun working. In contact with international coordination mechanisms, we both contribute to search and rescue works and make the necessary planning to meet the primary humanitarian needs in the area. We also gladly witness that our municipalities organize various aid campaigns for the friendly Venezuelan people. I once again send my get well soon wishes to the Venezuelan government and people, and reiterate that the Turkish nation stands and will stand by them.”
