O fickle wind, blow whichever way you will.” from Necip Fazıl Kısakürek’s poem.
In a post on his Twitter account, Altun shared the video titled “July 15 Janissary Anthem” prepared by the Directorate of Communications, with the note, “With respect and mercy for the brave martyrs who gave up their lives and their loved ones to defend their homeland without hesitating even for a moment...”
In the promotional video of the piece prepared in memory of the July 15 martyrs, ahead of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, President Erdoğan read the lines of poet Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, “We’ve opened a rift in the ramparts, oh so holy. O fickle wind, blow whichever way you will”.

The video clip shot in Hagia Sophia Square features the footage of the incidents experienced during the treacherous coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016, and the struggle of the citizens who took to the streets to avert the coup attempt.
