Panel: Common Challenges for Turkey and EU | Refugee Crisis 2.0

“Common Challenges for Turkey and EU – Refugee Crisis 2.0” organized by the Republic of Turkey Directorate of Communications take place on Thursday, 12 th of March 2020 from 12.00 to 14.00.

The panel discussion will draw attention to the humanitarian crisis at the European Union’s border and the Syrian refugee crisis’ geopolitical challenges.

At this panel the panelists will discuss the developments from the humanitarian, geopolitical and international law perspective. Coordinator of SETA Brussels, Enes Bayraklı will moderate the panel and the panelists include Mehmet Güllüoğlu (President of Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency -AFAD), Laura Batalla Adam (Secretary General of the European Parliament Turkey Forum), Başak Yavçan (TOBB ETÜ, University of Liège Hugo Observatory) and Alexandra Stiglmayer (European Stability Initiative).

The event will take place at the SETA Brussels office (3rd floor), Avenue des Arts 27, 1040 Bruxelles. After the panel a light lunch will be served.
