Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications hosted the journalists coming from Tunisia.
The Tunisian press delegation received information regarding the recent developments in the region and the critical role assumed by Turkey from Deputy Director of Communications Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı and Executive Assistant Dr. Çağatay Özdemir.
Turkish Presidency's Directorate of Communications continues its activities for the international press members within the context of coping with the perception operations and disinformation through giving accurate information about Turkey to the world public opinion.
The 11-people press delegation including the representatives of the leading media organizations in the world came to Turkey within the framework of the program jointly organized by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
During the delegation’s visit to the Directorate of Communications, Deputy Director of Communications Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı answered the questions of the Tunisian journalists and gave detailed information about the developments in the region especially including İdlib and Turkey’s role during the process and its determination for the struggle against terrorism.
During the meeting, the development of media cooperation between the two countries and the establishment of joint platforms were taken up.
In the program of the press delegation which is the fourth one invited to our country by the Directorate of Communications, visits were also paid to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, TİKA, Anadolu Agency, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and ASELSAN.
