On his NSosyal account, the Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran made a post regarding President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine's visit to Türkiye between 11 - 13 August 2026.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran stated:
"At the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine will pay an official visit to Türkiye on 11–13 August 2026.
During the meetings to be held on Wednesday, 12 August, views will be exchanged on the latest developments in Palestine, bilateral relations, and regional developments."
