The Presidency’s Directorate of Communications will organise the exhibition “İstanbul: A City, a Thousand Perspectives” in Paris on 19–20 October 2026.
Held in Paris, a major international centre for art and culture, the exhibition aims to showcase Türkiye’s cultural richness and contemporary artistic production to French and international audiences, enhance İstanbul’s cultural visibility on the global stage, and contribute to Türkiye’s international cultural and artistic outreach and cultural diplomacy.
The exhibition will bring together a selection of works by artists working across various disciplines, including modern miniature painting, illumination, painting, watercolour, illustration, ceramic tile art and digital art, with a particular focus on the works of miniature painter and illumination artist Leyla Kara.
The exhibition will be open to visitors at Le Réfectoire des Cordeliers in Paris on 19–20 October 2026.
