President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye marked Working Journalists' Day during a visit in İstanbul on Saturday. Accompanied by many members of his government, the President marked the symbolic date by engaging directly with the media professionals present.
The Turkish leader, who visited the Beyoğlu district, took this opportunity to congratulate the reporters covering the event, expressing his pleasure in sharing this moment with members of the press. According to Anadolu Agency, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "We are pleased to be here with you on the occasion of the anniversary of Working Journalists' Day." He also expressed his wishes for the continuity of this cooperation, stating that he hopes "to have the opportunity to celebrate many more anniversaries together."
The President was accompanied by a delegation of ministers for the official visit. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy accompanied the President. Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran also attended the visit, which took place in a cordial atmosphere with members of the media.
