Togg, Türkiye’s electric SUV, was warmly welcomed, with pre-orders being taken from March 16 to 27. At least 177,467 pre-orders were received. In the first four hours of the campaign alone, more pre-orders were received than the total number of electric vehicles sold in Türkiye in 2022.
Pre-orders for Türkiye are available through the Togg website or the Trumore application, which has already been downloaded millions of times.
To handle the sudden surge of T10X (model name) bookings, the manufacturer staged a "digital draw" among registrants. As a result, 20,000 potential purchasers were identified. On March 29, 2023, the draw was live streamed on Turkish television and Togg's YouTube page.
Initially, Togg intended to invite only 12,000 interested parties to join. Due to high demand, this capacity was increased to 20,000. The first 20,000 T10X manufacturing slots were allocated by a draw. These orders are expected to be completed by the end of the year, with Togg initially focusing on domestic deliveries.
